Many, many years had past since the last time someone from one of the two worlds had crossed paths, and for a lot of people, they forgot that the pathway even existed in the first place. I didn't know why I was brought there for the longest time, but when I did, I also learned why our worlds were connected in the first place.
They ran parallel to one another. For every person who existed in my world, a counterpart--or soul mate--existed in theirs. My soulmate's name is Doloran, and he made some.... let's call them pretty terrible, desperate choices. It almost brought about the end of the world.
He thought that I was like him, but I wasn't.
